About Ethiopia Passport
The Ethiopian passport gives visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to around 40 countries. Most of that access is within Africa, with the wider world generally requiring a visa.
The good news is that more of those visas are now online eVisas and eTAs rather than embassy trips - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

Within Africa, Ethiopian citizens travel more easily. Several neighbours and regional partners - including Kenya (now visa-free), Djibouti, Rwanda and Togo - allow visa-free entry or a visa on arrival, so a trip around the region usually needs no application in advance.
Beyond the continent, most of Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom require a full embassy visa for Ethiopian citizens, which we do not process. But for a growing number of countries - the Gulf, South and South-East Asia - an online eVisa or eTA is enough, and those are the ones we prepare for you.
