US passport - booked a Hunza Valley trip and learned from the team that the free visa-on-arrival had ended in 2026. They sorted my eVisa with time to spare. Lahore's Badshahi Mosque was a highlight.

UK passport - visiting family in Islamabad. They flagged that I would need to be registered with the police, which my hotel handled at check-in. Smooth and stress-free.
German passport - applied for the 90-day tourist eVisa for a Karakoram Highway road trip. Clear all-inclusive pricing and great guidance on the northern areas.
Do you need a Pakistan visa?
Read the details below
Since 1 January 2026, Pakistan suspended the free visa-prior-to-arrival that 126 nationalities used to receive, so almost all visitors now need the online eVisa.
Only a few nationalities, such as Nepal and the Maldives, remain visa-free. Indian passport holders follow separate rules and cannot apply for a tourist visa.
For official visa information see the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
