Who needs a K-ETA

Most visa-free travellers need a K-ETA before flying to South Korea. 22 markets - including the US, UK, Japan, Canada, Australia and most of the EU - are temporarily exempt until 31 December 2026, and travellers 17 and under or 65 and over are exempt by age.
From 1 January 2027 the K-ETA becomes mandatory again for everyone. Anyone arriving without a valid K-ETA must complete the free e-Arrival Card before landing.
