Turkish passport - applied for a business trip to Taipei. The all-inclusive price and document review saved me a rejected photo.

Who needs a Taiwan eVisa

Read the details below

The Taiwan eVisa is for the listed visa-required nationalities, who apply online before they fly.

Visa-exempt travellers - including the US, UK, most of the EU, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand - do not need one and get a stamp on arrival.

Nationals of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar who hold a valid visa or residence from those countries usually use the free Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) instead.

Nationals of most other countries can be issued an eVisa only with an Ecode from a Taiwan host organisation for an invited official event.

Every traveller must also complete the Taiwan Arrival Card before arrival.

For official entry rules see the Bureau of Consular Affairs, MOFA.
