Entry conditions & safety

Read the details below

Please plan carefully

Ukraine is under martial law due to the ongoing war, and its airspace is closed to civilian flights, so entry is overland only, typically from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania or Moldova.

Valid health insurance of at least EUR 30,000 is mandatory, and entering or transiting the temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea, is prohibited.

Several governments currently advise against travel to all or parts of Ukraine, so read your own government's travel advisory and register with your embassy before you go.

For official entry rules see the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
