How it works

  1. Apply online

Fill the short form with your passport details, add a photo and answer a few background questions. About 5 minutes.

  2. We verify and submit

Our team checks your passport data, photo and answers, then files your ETA with the UK Home Office so it is right first time.

  3. Get your ETA

Approved ETA digitally linked to your passport, often within minutes and in as fast as 6 hours. No printout needed at the border.

US passport - needed an ETA for a London trip and didn't realise the rules had changed. Came back on the Express speed within the hour and they checked my passport details first.

German passport - clear all-inclusive price and a quick form. They confirmed the 2-year validity covers my work trips, so I applied just once.

Emirati passport - simple and fast for a family visit to Manchester. They reminded me that each of my children needed their own ETA, which saved a problem at the airport.

Entry conditions & good to know

Read the details below

A UK ETA permits travel to the UK, but a Border Force officer decides entry at the border, so be ready to show where you are staying and any onward travel.

The ETA is valid 2 years or until your passport expires, allows multiple visits of up to 6 months, and is digitally linked to your passport - there is nothing to print. If you renew your passport you need a new ETA.

British and Irish citizens, and anyone who already holds a UK visa, residence permit or settled status, do not need an ETA.

For official guidance see the UK Government ETA information on GOV.UK.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. An ETA is an Electronic Travel Authorisation, not a visa. It is a digital permission linked to your passport that lets citizens of visa-exempt countries travel to the UK for short stays. Travellers who are not visa-exempt still need to apply for a UK visa, which is a separate process.
