About Argentine Passport

The Argentine passport is one of the strongest in Latin America. It ranks 15th on the Henley Passport Index, opening around 170 destinations visa-free or with a visa on arrival - including the Schengen area, Japan, Russia and the UAE.

Only a small group of countries still want an online eVisa or eTA from Argentines - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

Argentina is a founding member of Mercosur, so Argentines can enter, live and work across South America - Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador - using just the national ID card (DNI), with no passport or visa needed.

Further afield, Argentines enter Europe’s Schengen area visa-free for short stays. Two changes to watch: the UK now needs an ETA before you fly, and Europe’s ETIAS online authorisation is being rolled out - both are quick and online, not full visas.
