About Colombia Passport
The Colombian passport has grown a lot stronger over the last decade, opening roughly 130 destinations visa-free or with a visa on arrival - including the Schengen area, all of Latin America and Russia.
A number of other countries still want an online eVisa or eTA from Colombians, and a few - like the US and Canada - need an embassy visa. The online ones are exactly what we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

Regional travel for Colombia
Read the travel policy details for Colombia
As a member of the Andean Community and a Mercosur associate, a Colombian can enter, and often live and work in, fellow South American countries - Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay - using just the national ID card, with no passport or visa needed. Colombians also visit Europe’s Schengen area visa-free for short stays.
Further afield, the United States, Canada and - since late 2024 - the United Kingdom all require a full embassy visa for Colombian citizens, which we do not process. But for a good number of countries an online eVisa or eTA is enough, and those are the ones we prepare for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
A good number - the Colombian passport ranks around 38th on the Henley Passport Index, giving visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 130 countries and territories. That includes the whole Schengen area (visa-free since 2015), all of Latin America, Russia and much of Asia. For many other countries you will need a visa, and a large share of those can be arranged online.
