Visa Requirements for Czechia Citizens

For Czech travellers, only a short list of countries still asks for a visa, and almost all of it can be done online. We prepare your ESTA, eVisa or eTA, check every detail, and send the approval to your inbox.

About Czechia Passport

The Czech passport is one of the strongest in the world, ranking around 7th on the Henley Passport Index and opening roughly 180 destinations visa-free or with a visa on arrival - including the entire EU and Schengen area, Japan, South Korea and the United States on an ESTA.

As an EU citizen you enjoy full freedom of movement across Europe. Only a small group of countries still ask for an online eVisa or eTA from Czechs - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

Regional travel for Czechia

Read the travel policy details for Czechia

As an EU citizen, a Czech enjoys full freedom of movement: you can travel, live, work and study in any other EU or EEA country and in Switzerland on your passport or national ID card, with no border checks inside the Schengen area and no need for ETIAS.

The Czech Republic also sits in the US Visa Waiver Program, so the United States is an ESTA away rather than an embassy visa. Two more changes to know: the UK now needs an ETA before you fly, and South Korea’s K-ETA is currently waived for Czechs until the end of 2026. The UK ETA and US ESTA are quick and online, and we can prepare them for you.
