About Denmark Passport
The Danish passport is among the strongest in the world, ranking around 3rd on the Henley Passport Index and opening roughly 185 destinations visa-free or with a visa on arrival - including the entire EU and Schengen area, Japan, South Korea and the United States on an ESTA.
As an EU citizen you enjoy full freedom of movement across Europe, and the Nordic Passport Union adds Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Only a small group of countries still ask for an online eVisa or eTA - and those are the ones we handle for you.

Danes enjoy some of the freest travel anywhere. Under the Nordic Passport Union you can live and work in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland with no formalities, and as an EU citizen the same freedom extends across the whole EU and EEA and to Switzerland, with no border checks inside Schengen and no ETIAS.
Denmark is also in the US Visa Waiver Program, so the United States is an ESTA away rather than an embassy visa. A couple of changes to know: the UK now needs an ETA, and South Korea’s K-ETA is currently waived for Danes until the end of 2026. Both the UK ETA and US ESTA are quick and online, and we can prepare them for you.
