Indonesia eVOA for Indian citizens

Indonesia eVOA for Indians at a glance

Indians need a visa for Indonesia. Apply online for the electronic Visa on Arrival (eVOA) and skip the airport queue - it covers tourism, business and family visits to Bali, Jakarta and beyond.

Good to know: the eVOA is accepted at Indonesia's designated international airports and seaports (such as Bali Ngurah Rai and Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta), not every entry point.

Bali also charges a separate IDR 150,000 tourist levy.

Tips for Indians visiting Indonesia

  • Check your entry point

The eVOA works at Indonesia's major international airports and seaports (such as Bali Ngurah Rai and Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) - not every crossing.

  • Budget for the Bali levy

If you are visiting Bali, there is a separate IDR 150,000 tourist levy on top of your visa, paid online or on arrival.

  • Fill the arrival card

For Bali, Jakarta and other major airports, complete Indonesia's free All Indonesia digital arrival card (which now includes the customs declaration) a few days before you arrive - it is separate from your visa.

  • Stay within 30 days

You can extend once by another 30 days in-country (60 days total) - don't overstay.
