“Didn’t realise Britain needs a UK ETA now - they sorted it before my Milan to London flight.”
Visa Requirements for Italy Citizens
An Italian passport is one of the most powerful on earth, clearing almost every border on arrival. For the short list of countries that still ask for an online eVisa or eTA, we prepare it, check every detail and email back the approval.

About Italy Passport
The Italian passport is one of the strongest in the world, ranked around Top 3 on the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 190 destinations. As an EU and Schengen member, Italy also gives its citizens full freedom of movement to live, work and travel across the bloc.
Only a small group of countries still ask Italian travellers for an online eVisa or eTA - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

As an EU and Schengen member, Italy gives its citizens full freedom of movement: you can live, work and travel across the bloc on a passport or national identity card, with no border checks between most member states. That right is automatic and never needs an application.
Further afield, Italy is in the US Visa Waiver Program, so an ESTA covers travel to the United States. Two things to keep in mind: Britain now requires a UK ETA before you fly, and South Korea has temporarily waived its K-ETA for Italians to the end of 2026 - all quick online steps, not full visas.
