About Kazakhstan Passport
The Kazakhstani passport sits in the 50s on the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 78 destinations. As an EAEU and CIS member, Kazakhstan gives its citizens free travel across Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, plus visa-free entry to many neighbours and, since 2023, China.
Beyond the region, much of the world asks Kazakhstani travellers for a visa - and many of those are now quick online eVisas or eTAs that we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

As a member of the EAEU and CIS, Kazakhstan gives its citizens visa-free travel across Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, and visa-free entry to neighbours including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Ukraine and Moldova - plus Turkey and the UAE. Since 2023, China is visa-free too under a mutual agreement.
Further afield, most travel needs a visa. Europe, the UK and the United States are embassy visas, while South Korea now requires the K-ETA online. Many other destinations - India, Egypt, Kenya, Vietnam and more - are quick online eVisas or eTAs, which is where we come in.
