Visa Requirements for Malaysian Citizens

Your Malaysian passport is one of the strongest in the world, so most places are already open. For the few that still need an eVisa or eTA, we prepare it online, check every detail, and email back the approval - no embassy queue.

About the Malaysian passport

The Malaysian passport is the 6th strongest in the world on the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to around 183 destinations - the strongest in Southeast Asia after Singapore.

Only a small group of countries still ask Malaysians for an online eVisa or eTA - including a few, like the UK and Australia, that recently added travel authorisations - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Keep your passport valid at least six months from arrival.

Malaysia is a founding member of ASEAN, so Malaysians travel visa-free across Southeast Asia - Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and Brunei - and enjoy visa-free entry to China, Japan and most of the world on a passport ranked 6th globally.

Two things to watch: several normally visa-free countries now need a quick online authorisation before you fly - the UK ETA, Australia ETA, New Zealand NZeTA and South Korea K-ETA. And the United States still needs a full embassy visa, as Malaysia is not in its Visa Waiver Program.
