Visa Requirements for Russian Citizens

Your Russian passport opens much of Latin America, the CIS, the Gulf and Asia without a visa. For the places that still need an eVisa or eTA, we prepare it online, check every detail, and email back the approval - no embassy queue.

About the Russian passport

The Russian passport ranks around 44th on the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 110 destinations - including almost all of Latin America, the CIS, Turkey, Thailand, the UAE and, since 2026, Saudi Arabia.

A group of countries still asks Russians for an online eVisa or eTA - among them India, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, Cambodia and South Korea (K-ETA) - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. The big exceptions are the Schengen area, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, which all require an embassy visa. Keep your passport valid at least six months from arrival.

Regional travel for Russians

Read the travel policy details for Russians

Russia is part of the CIS and the EAEU, so Russians travel visa-free across Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus - several even accept a Russian internal passport. Beyond the region, most of Latin America, Turkey, Thailand, the UAE and now Saudi Arabia are visa-free too.

Two things to watch: the Schengen area, the US, the UK, Canada and Australia all require an embassy visa, and Schengen processing has tightened sharply since 2022. For the online routes that do work for Russians - India, Egypt, Kenya, the South Korea K-ETA and more - we can prepare the application for you.
